| Our History
Our jewelry store has been continuously family owned and
operated for nearly a century. Our story began in
1908 when my grandfather first opened the DeNatale Jewelry Company on Mulberry and
Grand Streets in New York City.
Later on, my father
and uncle built upon this fine reputation by opening their own stores in the Wall Street
area, under the names of DeNatale Brothers and Peter DeNatale.
In the early 1950s, my father was
commissioned to design crowns for the statues of the Madonna and Baby Jesus at
Regina Pacis Church in Brooklyn, New York.
In thanksgiving for the safe return of their family members from World War II,
parishioners donated their family heirlooms to the cause. Gold was melted down, and
precious gems such as diamonds, rubies and sapphires were fashioned into the crowns.
My father and mother had the honor of taking these crowns to Rome to be personally blessed
by the Pope.
Now, almost a century later, we carry
on the honored family tradition of quality and service at our present location
in southern New Jersey.
